About

Ekaterina Zhdanyuk was born and raised in Minsk, Belarus, and her passion for dance began at an early age. At just five years old, she started dancing and quickly showed promise. Her dance teacher recognized her potential and encouraged her to pursue a professional path in ballet. Despite the fierce competition, Ekaterina’s determination and hard work earned her a place at the Belarusian State Choreographic College, where she was admitted on a full scholarship.

After nine years of intensive training, Ekaterina graduated in 2008 and joined the prestigious National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of Belarus. Over the past 16 years, she has performed solo roles in numerous ballets in the major productions of the classical repertoire.

Being a dedicated ballerina and proud mom of two wonderful children, Ekaterina skillfully balances her career with motherhood. She takes great pride in being a role model for her kids, showing them that perseverance and passion can lead to success. She believes in the importance of hard work and dedication, values embodied in her favorite fairy tale, “Cinderella,” which teaches that diligence and perseverance are always rewarded.

Her message to aspiring dancers and her younger self is simple: “You can achieve anything; always follow your heart.” Ekaterina continues to strive for excellence, both on stage and in life, believing that success comes to those who truly love what they do.
