How do I purchase tickets?

Tickets for our shows are sold through local theatre ticketing systems or ticketing service providers (e.g. Ticketmaster). To contact them, please click here and choose the show you are interested in. After that, click ‘Buy Tickets’ and find your city. Click ‘Details’ in case you need to find the Box Office number.

Is it possible to purchase tickets in advance at the box office?

Absolutely! Tickets, purchased at the box office are usually less expensive, as there are no online fees. Please refer to the box office’s operating hours. Check the event page for each show to find out the box office hours.

Can I buy tickets at the door on the day of the event?

If there are still tickets available to purchase on the day of the event, you may purchase them in person at the box office. Some shows sell very quickly and do not always have tickets available on the day of the show, so we suggest you buy tickets ahead of time. Usually the box office is open 30 minutes prior to doors.

Does my child need a ticket?

Yes, every attendee, no matter their age, must have a ticket. We recommend not bringing small children to performances that need complete silence. Venue policies for babies in arms can vary, so please check the event page for the venue’s contact number and call to confirm their policy.

Do you have any promo codes?

While we don’t offer promo codes, we provide special options for groups of 10 or more. Click here to apply for group ticket purchases (10+ tickets).

Can I get a refund for my tickets if I can't attend the show?

As per the theaters’ policy, tickets are non-refundable. The theater handles all ticket sales directly, and their policy prohibits refunds except in the case of a canceled performance.

Silence policy

Due to the venues’ acoustic sophistication, we ask that everyone in your party, regardless of age, be able to sit quietly through a two-hour show without disturbing other patrons or the artists. Ushers may ask parents whose children are noisy or uncomfortable to take them outside of the venue. If there is repeated disruption, we reserve the right to revoke admission.

The lights will dim to signal the beginning of the performance. At this point the audience is expected to sit and watch quietly and attentively throughout the performance. Talking, coughing, humming, unwrapping cellophane-wrapped candies, and any other noisy disruptive behavior is highly distracting and disrespectful to the performers and the rest of the audience.

What is your pet policy?

The majority of the venues have a “no pets” policy. However, the World Ballet Сompany’s policy explicitly permits guests with disabilities to use dogs as service animals. Our policy, consistent with ADA’s revised guidelines, defines “service animal” as limited to a dog individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the individual’s disability.

All venues require that service animals be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents him or her from using these devices. Individuals who cannot use such devices must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective methods.

What should I wear?

The decision is entirely in your hands! Attending a classical ballet performance can be an excellent opportunity to dress up and embrace your elegant side. Many of our patrons enjoy donning formal attire for the occasion. However, if you prefer something more casual and comfortable, that’s perfectly fine too! Rest assured, you won’t be the only one, and our priority is to ensure you have an enjoyable experience, regardless of your outfit choice.

What about the music?

World Ballet Company brings the magic of ballet to life with an enchanting soundscape. Our sound engineers and music curators select and blend compositions from famous composers, creating a rich and emotional auditory experience. Although we use only recorded music and do not feature a live orchestra, we ensure the music is of the highest quality and authenticity.

When do you start letting people in before a performance?

Doors to the building lobbies usually open one hour prior to the start of the performance.  Doors to the seating areas are generally opened 30 minutes prior to the start of the show.

Can I bring food in?

At World Ballet Company, we strive to ensure an enjoyable experience for all our patrons. While we encourage you to savor the delicious snacks and beverages available at the venue’s concession stand, we kindly request that you consume them in the lobby area. To maintain the pristine condition of our auditorium and ensure the comfort of all audience members, only water is permitted inside the performance space.

How can I understand the plot?

Don’t worry if you’re not familiar with the entire story; we’ve got you covered. Upon arrival at the venue, you will be provided with a free brochure with the synopsis.

Digital brochures will be sent to your email as a part of the “Know Before You Go” email, they are comprehensive guides with more show details. They include a synopsis, a timeline to help you follow the on-stage events with ease, and information about the cast.

Can I take pictures during the show?

You may take pictures in the lobbies of all theaters. Cameras, laser pointers and recording devices, of any kind, are strictly prohibited during the show. The flash from a camera can blind a dancer briefly and cause injury. Also, music and dance works are subject to copyright laws and it is illegal to record either without permission.

Please turn off all cell phones, and watch alarms before entering the house.

What happens during intermission?

Our 20-minute intermission offers plenty of opportunities for entertainment and refreshments. You can visit the performing arts center’s concession stand for a variety of snacks and beverages. Don’t forget to check out our merchandise store, where you’ll find branded t-shirts, brochures, and a range of ballet- themed souvenirs.

For a memorable keepsake, take advantage of the chance to have a professional photo taken with one of the characters. With so much to see and do, just be sure to return to your seat in time for the captivating Act 2!

What if I’m late?

Please ensure that you leave enough time to arrive early. Latecomers will not be seated until there is a suitable break in the performance so as not to disturb the dancers or members of the audience.

Can I buy merchandise at a venue?

Merchandise and the photo booth are available as soon as the lobby opens, which is an hour before the show. Sales continue during the intermission. Due to our busy performance schedule, we do not sell merchandise after the show.

Do you offer online merchandise sales?

Yes, we do. All our products are available in our online store, which opens for sales a few days before the tour starts. Click here to learn more.

Should I bring cash for concessions, merchandise, or attractions?

While the majority of the theater’s concession stands accept both credit cards and cash, it’s important to note that World Ballet Company’s merchandise booths and photo booths are cashless. To ensure a smooth experience, we recommend bringing a credit card for all your merchandise and photo needs. 

Additionally, having some cash on hand might be helpful for parking or for specific concession stands that may not accept cards

I forgot my photo from the photobooth. What should I do?

All unclaimed photos are handled by the senior venue house manager. Your photo is likely at the box office; please contact them for more information. If you can’t find your photo there, click here to request assistance.
