About

Elizaveta Lazareva, born in Tomsk, began her ballet training at the age of 4 in the children’s studio “Fouetté,” quickly setting her sights on becoming a ballerina. In 2009, she entered the Novosibirsk State Choreographic College, graduating in 2017.

Elizaveta joined the troupe of the Yekaterinburg State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre (Ural Ballet). She toured with the company in Russia, Israel, Vietnam, and China, showcasing her versatility and responsibility as a ballerina. Her repertoire included roles in major and iconic ballets, such as “Swan Lake”, “La Bayadère”, “Don Quixote”, “Romeo and Juliet”, and various gala performances.

In 2023, Elizaveta joined the ballet troupe of the Bolshoi Theatre.

Elizaveta finds inspiration in characters like Tiana from “The Princess and the Frog,” admiring the optimism, kindness, perseverance, and independence of the main character. She appreciates Tiana’s strength, intelligence, and talent, qualities that resonate with her own approach to ballet.

Her favorite ballet is “Don Quixote,” particularly the Bolero in the third act, as it offers many opportunities for solo performances. Her advice to aspiring dancers is to always listen to their hearts, be brave, and stay true to themselves.

Elizaveta is known for her ability to work hard while maintaining a positive attitude. Her radiant smile captivates audiences and brings a unique energy to the stage.
