Galina Yanovskaya was born in Samara, Russia, and began ballet training at 8. She was accepted into the prestigious Perm State Choreographic School, where she studied diligently until her graduation in 2008.

Following her graduation, Galina joined the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater, where she honed her craft and performed in various productions. She toured internationally, visiting countries such as Japan, Morocco, France, and others, expanding her artistic horizons and gaining invaluable experience on the global stage.

Galina’s favorite ballet is “Sleeping Beauty,” as she deeply appreciates how the music captures the characters’ emotions and the atmosphere of each scene.

Galina believes that success in ballet, as in any field, requires dedication, passion, and a deep love for one’s work. Her advice to her younger self would be always to strive to find and remain true to oneself, to listen to one’s inner voice, and to love what one does.
