Born in 2001 in Samara, Russia, Polina Marushina began her ballet training at the Samara Choreographic School at the age of nine. Two years later, she entered the Vaganova Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg, graduating in 2020 under the guidance of Professor L. V. Kovaleva. Upon graduation, she continued her higher education at the Academy while performing with the Samara Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after D. D. Shostakovich.

From 2020 to 2024, she was a soloist with the Samara Ballet. Since 2025, Polina has been performing with the World Ballet Company across the United States.

She particularly cherishes the role of Cinderella, which she describes as embodying childhood dreams and the belief in magic and kindness.
