Urara Tsukamoto was born in Osaka, Japan, and began ballet at the age of three. In high school, she spent a year training at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow. After graduating, she received a full scholarship to join the Trainee Program at Alberta Ballet School in Canada.
She began her professional career with Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida, where she performed a wide range of classical roles and refined her expressive, lyrical style. Her favorite ballet is La Bayadère, and her dream role is Nikiya — a part she admires for its depth, elegance, and quiet strength.
Inspired by the Lilac Fairy from The Sleeping Beauty, Urara strives to bring beauty, grace, and sincerity to every performance. Her goal is to share her art with audiences around the world and to move them through the purity of her dancing.
Since 2025, Urara Tsukamoto has been performing with the World Ballet Company, touring across the United States.
