Lina was born in Ukraine and began dancing at the age of five in her mother’s dance studio. She received her professional training at the National Choreography College of the Republic of Moldova and continued her studies at the Academy of Music, Theatre, and Fine Arts in Moldova.
Upon completing her education, Lina joined the Maria Bieșu National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Chișinău. She was later invited to work with the world-renowned Bolshoi Theatre of Russia.
Her favorite ballet is “Romeo and Juliet,” with the role of Juliet holding a special place in her heart. It was her first major role and remains unforgettable for its Italian passion, dramatic depth, and Prokofiev’s magnificent score.
If Lina could speak to her younger self as a beginning ballerina, she would say:
“Be brave, and celebrate each day — even the smallest achievements.”
