Aida Zhaksylykova was born in Taldykorgan, Kazakhstan. She began dancing at the age of four and started professional ballet training at nine at the Seleznev Almaty Choreographic School.
She went on to perform with the State Academic Dance Theatre of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the direction of Bulat Auykhanov and later joined the Turkestan Music and Drama Theatre.
Her favorite ballet is Don Quixote, especially the fiery role of Kitri. Aida enjoys exploring every type of character — from heroes to villains — finding something unique in each.
Her dream is simple yet heartfelt: to keep her loved ones healthy, travel widely, build a home of her own, and fill life with many joyful moments. She believes that challenges are temporary and that hard work and patience overcome everything.
Since 2025, Aida Zhaksylykova has been performing with the World Ballet Company, bringing her passion, precision, and radiance to audiences across the United States.
