
Alexander Borodin hails from Muravlenko, Russia, and began dancing at the age of five in local folk dance groups. After many years of dedicated training, he was discovered during a winning performance at a dance competition and invited to attend the Perm State Choreographic College, an internationally renowned ballet school in Perm, Russia. There, he trained in the rigorous Vaganova method. Following his graduation, he joined the Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theatre as part of the corps de ballet. Two years later, he was promoted to soloist and continued to grow professionally while expanding his repertoire.

“Take care of your health — without it, there’s no place for us in ballet. And never stop at what you’ve achieved — keep developing in every direction.”
