Aleksandr Mazurenko discovered his passion for dance at an early age when he joined a local children’s dance club. His natural talent and musicality quickly set him apart, leading to his acceptance into the Samara Ballet School, where he began formal classical training. Eager to deepen his artistry, he later continued his education at the Boris Eifman Dance Academy in St. Petersburg, becoming part of the Academy’s inaugural graduating class.
His studies at Eifman’s Academy combined the traditions of classical ballet with the expressive language of contemporary dance, shaping Aleksandr into a performer known for both technical precision and emotional depth.
Upon graduation, Aleksandr returned to his hometown to join the Samara Opera and Ballet Theatre. For three years with the company he performed a wide range of solo and leading roles in both classical and modern productions. His interpretation of one of these roles earned him recognition as “Best Male Role”, affirming his growing reputation as a distinctive and dedicated artist.
Aleksandr has also toured extensively throughout Europe, performing in Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, and Italy. His performances are marked by strong stage presence, musical sensitivity, and a genuine connection to the characters he brings to life.
Since 2025, Aleksandr Mazurenko has been performing with World Ballet Company on tour across the United States, continuing to share his artistry with audiences nationwide.
