Born in Tokyo, Japan, Aya Araki began her training in rhythmic gymnastics at age 5 and transitioned to ballet at age 6. She grew up between Japan and Singapore, developing an early passion for movement and performance that would shape her artistic journey.
She received her ballet education in Tokyo, Japan, and later continued her studies through Orlando Ballet School, working with Oregon Ballet Theatre.
Aya’s favorite ballet is Giselle, and she is deeply inspired by Romeo and Juliet. Her favorite fairytale character is Cinderella, who she admires for embodying hope, resilience, and kindness—values Aya carries both on and off stage. Her advice to her younger self is: “Never give up, believe in yourself, and keep moving forward—never forgetting to be grateful to those around you.”
Aya is honored to share her artistry with audiences across the nation.
