Liudmila Savenko was born in Sochi, Russia, and first discovered her love of movement through ballroom dance. In sixth grade, she decided to pursue ballet seriously and was accepted into the Voronezh Choreographic College. Just six months later, her determination and talent led her to the Boris Eifman Dance Academy in St. Petersburg, where she began performing in Eifman’s productions while still a student — an early testament to her expressive artistry and discipline.
After graduating, Liudmila joined the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Theatre, where she danced for a year and a half before accepting an invitation to perform in Turkey. Her journey has taken her through both classical and contemporary repertoires, allowing her to develop a style that balances technical clarity with emotional sincerity.
Her favorite ballet is Cinderella — a story she treasures for its joy and sense of renewal. She admires Anne Shirley from Anne of Green Gables for her imagination, resilience, and ability to find beauty in every circumstance.
Her personal dream is to travel freely and remind others that “the only real boundaries are the ones we create in our minds.”
Since 2025, Liudmila Savenko has been performing with the World Ballet Company, sharing her artistry and heartfelt spirit with audiences across the United States.
