Born in Minsk, Lizaveta Usovich discovered her love for dance in early childhood — creating her own routines, stretching for hours, performing at school concerts, and feeling completely at home on stage.
At ten, she entered the Belarusian State Choreographic College and later continued her studies at the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts, where she studied cultural theory and broadened her artistic perspective.
After graduating, she joined the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, where she danced for eight years, performing nearly the entire repertoire and touring internationally.
She is most inspired by roles that allow her to fully embody a character and tell a story through movement, while short, static roles feel less creatively fulfilling.
To her younger self, she would say:
“Dream boldly, believe in yourself, and keep moving forward — even when the path feels difficult. Every effort makes you stronger.”
