Nadezhda Lavrova was born in Mytishchi, Russia, and has been dancing since she could walk. She began choreography classes at the age of four and later graduated from the Moscow State Choreographic School. After graduation, she toured for two years across Europe, Mexico, and South Korea before dancing for nearly four years at the state theatre La Classic under the direction of Elik Melikov. She later returned to touring, performing in China in productions including La Bayadère and La Sylphide.

Favorite Ballet and/or Favorite Ballet Roles: Mercedes in Don Quixote, The Cigar Girls in Carmen, Paquita in Paquita, Gypsy Dance in Don Quixote. She especially loves character and folk-style dances that allow her to express personality and acting skills.
Favorite Fictional Character:
Arwen from The Lord of the Rings — in her opinion, the ideal image of female beauty, strength and resilience.
Most Difficult Ballet Movement:
Gargouillade
Artistic Aspiration:
To travel the world and dance for as long as possible — something that now feels less like a dream and more like her life!
Advice to Young Dancers:
“Don’t let anyone hurt or belittle you. Understand that everything you do now is for yourself and your successful future. Don’t listen to judgment, and don’t believe those who say ‘this isn’t for you’ or ‘you shouldn’t even try.’ Keep going, fight for it, and you’ll see the results. Grades mean nothing — the only thing that truly matters is your love for yourself and your art.”
