Egor Turov was born and raised in Minsk, Belarus. His journey into the world of dance began at 10 when he enrolled in the Belarusian State Choreographic College. By 2021, he had graduated and joined the ballet troupe of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of the Republic of Belarus.

Egor’s favorite ballet is “Swan Lake.” He particularly admires Odile’s character for her complexity and grace. Egor believes every role is an opportunity to grow as an artist, and he has yet to find a role he doesn’t enjoy.

Beyond ballet, Egor deeply loves music and plays the guitar in his free time. He dreams of traveling the world. His favorite fairytale character is Puss in Boots, whom he admires for his cleverness, resourcefulness, and unwavering positivity.

Reflecting on his journey, Egor advises young dancers to focus on flexibility and strength training and to truly savor their time on stage.
