Located at 160 West Virginia Beach Boulevard in Norfolk, Virginia, the Harrison Opera House is a 1,600-seat theater dedicated primarily to opera and large-scale stage productions. Originally built in the 1940s as a USO venue, it was transformed into a modern opera house in 1993, blending historic touches with contemporary amenities. Known for its excellent acoustics and spacious design, it serves as the home of Virginia Opera while also hosting concerts and special events. Positioned near downtown Norfolk, it is close to restaurants, hotels, and waterfront attractions, making it a central part of the city’s arts community.
