Before the curtain rises, a few things worth knowing

Before the evening begins

Arrive a little early
Silence your phone before the performance
Live theater starts exactly on time
What audiences wish everyone knew

In theater… we have standards

To ensure an enjoyable experience for all audience members, recording or photographing the performance is not permitted. This policy applies throughout the performance without exception.

The light emitted by phone screens can be highly distracting in a dark theater, drawing attention away from the stage and disrupting the experience for those seated nearby. Flash photography is even more disruptive, affecting both fellow audience members and the performers on stage.

We kindly ask that all phones and electronic devices remain put away for the duration of the performance. Your cooperation helps create an immersive and respectful theater environment for everyone.

While most theaters do not have a formal dress code, attending a performance is a special occasion. We encourage guests to choose attire that is neat, comfortable, and appropriate for the theater setting.

There is no need for formal evening wear, but dressing thoughtfully helps create a memorable experience and reflects the respect shared between the audience, the performers, and the venue.

To preserve the atmosphere of the performance, we kindly ask guests to refrain from eating during the show.

Even small sounds, such as the rustling of wrappers or opening snack packaging, can be surprisingly noticeable in a quiet theater and may distract both fellow audience members and the performers on stage.

If you’d like to enjoy a snack or beverage, we encourage you to do so before the performance or during intermission, where permitted by the venue.

Before the performance begins, please take a moment to silence your phone and other electronic devices.

Even a brief ringtone, notification, or alarm can interrupt the performance and distract both the audience and the performers. A quiet theater allows everyone to fully enjoy the artistry on stage without unnecessary interruptions.
